The itinerary for the Chambal Bharatpur and Ranthambore Tour
FIRST DAY: DELHI ARRIVAL (FLIGHT)
We are welcoming you to a land rich in culture and heritage, where hospitality is a way of life. Upon arrival at the airport, you will be greeted with a garland traditionally. Upon arrival at your hotel, our representative will accompany you to check-in.

DAY 2: DELHI – AGRA (210 kilometres. 4 hours drive)
As soon as you wake up in the morning, check out of your hotel and drive to Agra. Our representative will meet and assist you on arrival and then drive straight to the Agra Fort, built between 1565 and 1571. Check into the hotel in the afternoon. Take a rest at the hotel after a tour of the Taj Mahal (Closed on Fridays), one of the seven wonders of the world.

Day 3: AGRA – CHAMBAL (105 KMS, 12 hrs of driving).
In the morning, drive to Chambal Sanctuary near the Chambal River after breakfast at the hotel. The hotel will be waiting for you when you arrive for check-in. We will take a boat safari on the river late in the afternoon. Several endangered species are found in the river, including the Ghariyal, the Turtle, and the River Dolphin. The park is also known for its migratory birds from Siberia and eight types of turtles out of 26 are found here. In the evening, explore the local village to gain a better understanding of Indian village life.

Day 4: CHAMBAL – BHARATPUR (160 km, 3 hours)
You may wish to visit Fatehpur Sikri en route to Bharatpur after breakfast. Once you reach Bharatpur, check into your hotel. The world-famous Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary lies just outside of the city. We drive there late in the afternoon. Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary (Keoladeo Ghana National Park) is one of the most prestigious bird parks in the world, protecting both birds and mammals. It is home to indigenous water birds, migratory waterbirds and other waterside birds; boar, sambar, and chital also reside here.
The evening will be spent at the hotel.

5th Day: BHARATPUR to RANTHAMBHORE (235 km, 5 hours)
We enjoyed a safari in a Rickshaw early in the morning looking for birds, then returned to the hotel for breakfast. The next morning, check out of the hotel and drive to Ranthambore. The hotel will be waiting for you when you arrive. Afterwards, proceed to Ranthambore National Park to see the Ranthambhore Fort, believed to be among the oldest forts in India. From its vantage point, you can see the National Park in all its glory. The fort was constructed by a Chauhan king in 944 A.D.

DAY 6: RANTHAMBHORE
Experience a safari in Ranthambhore National Park early in the morning to see the amazing animals. After the safari, return to the hotel for breakfast. After lunch, proceed to another jungle safari in the afternoon.

DAY 7: RANTHAMBORE
Experience a safari in Ranthambhore National Park early in the morning to see the amazing animals. Breakfast at the hotel follows the safari. After lunch, proceed for another safari in the jungle in the afternoon.

DAY 8: RANTHAMBORE- DELHI (TRAIN)
The hotel will pick you up early in the morning with your packed breakfast and transfer you to the train station so that you can board your train to Delhi. Upon arrival at Delhi railway station afternoon, our representative will meet and assist you and take you to the local market to make some last-minute shopping. A transfer to the airport will be made later in the evening to catch the international flight home.
